    Captain Bucknell has been licensed by the USCG for over 30 years, and currently holds a USCG license as Master, Oceans, with an International Tonnage Certificate (ITC) of 3000 gross tons and all the requisite endorsements including Master of sail vessels. He also holds a British MCA CEC certificate as Master, Ships, to 3000 gross tons (Class IV, Commercial) as well as International Maritime Organization (IMO) certificates for GMDSS and STCW'95.

    Captain Bucknell's experience includes four new yacht construction projects, three of which were in Europe, as well as yacht refits of varied extent in a wide variety of venues and circumstances. He has logged over 400,000 sea miles on all oceans. One of his projects as yacht Captain included a three year circumnavigation of the world.

    Captain Bucknell is also available to provide service in yacht captain relief and in rotation roles.

    Voyager Marine yacht crew personnel are bondable, approved by insurance underwriters and fully licensed and certified by the USCG, MCA, GMDSS and STCW'95.
